| Eastern Kentucky University is located in beautiful central Kentucky only 20 minutes away from Lexington, a growing city best known for its attractive horse farms. Richmond is less than two hours away from either Cincinnati, OH or Louisville, KY. Richmond has a vibrant Arts Council; a wonderful golf, baseball, softball and soccer complex, Gibson Bay; and an attractive EKU faculty/alumni club, Arlington. Eastern Kentucky University Libraries is a forward thinking organization dedicated to supporting the academic mission of the University through library instruction, resources and services. EKU Librarians have faculty status and 12-month contracts. Salaries are competitive.
